Join Eirian and Chet for an afternoon exploring inversions where they'll blend two perspectives of Yoga & Acro techniques, designed to teach you all the tools needed to develop a safe and confident inversion practice.

Alignment, proper foundation and the basic principles of going upside down will all be covered in detail.

The Yoga Perspective with Eirian from Cariad Yoga - Get your mindset in order with meditation & pranayama techniques. Prepare the body by opening up the shoulders and hamstrings with some relaxing Yin Yoga. Explore core strength building drills through variations of foundational poses such as down dog, dolphin and side plank. With a playful attitude you will work on gaining the stability and grace to balancing on your forearms in Pincha Mayurasana.

The Acro Perspective with Chet from Strength Clinic - Learn the proper alignment of the acrobatic handstand, with emphasis on ‘stacking’ the body, correct hand and finger technique to control the handstand effectively, the positioning of the shoulders/hips in correlation to the rest of the body, how to enter and exist a handstand, and a host of drills to help perfect your technique and alignment.

Banish those face-planting fears and learn how to access these empowering poses and incorporate them into your regular yoga and acro practice with ease.
