Yin yoga

Yin Yoga is a quieting, grounding, meditative practice designed to rejuvenate the body and still the mind. It is recommended to anyone wishing to slow down, deeply stretch and open up their body.

You will begin the practice with a breathing exercise (pranayama) and short meditation leading into a series of Yin style floor postures targeting the deeper connective tissues, held passively for several minutes at a time.

In our Western culture we often live is a very Yang-like state of being : full of stress, burn-out and depletion. During this class we will explore how to use yoga, meditation and your breath to calm your sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) and move into your parasympathetic (rest and digest) mode.

Yin Yoga is also the perfect complement the more fast paced, muscle contracting and blood pumping Yang like styles of Yoga and an extremely subtle and profound practice on its own.

The postures will be simple and accessible to everyone, but this does not mean that the practice will be easy; there will be some challenging moments. Mixed level class – perfect for total beginners. 


Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is one of the more fast paced styles of yoga where movement is linked to breath in a beautifully smooth, dance-like way.

With a fun loving spirit, Eirian ensures her classes are playful and accessible – creating a safe environment where students can move freely, feel good and experience a positive mind body connection.

At the sessions expect to build strength, stretch & sweat whilst you lift your spirits in a creative environment.

Mixed level class, beginners welcome.

Corporate Yoga

With the number of sick days and cases of depression and anxiety in the workplace increasing in the UK, there’s never been a better time to invest in employee wellbeing.

Regular, gentle exercise like yoga is a great way to reduce stress and improve fitness and energy levels. Combined with mindfulness meditation techniques, yoga can also help to boost mental clarity and creativity.

I’m passionate about promoting a healthy, happy working life and my experience teaching yoga to colleagues in 2014 inspired me to get Yoga Alliance Qualified and teach full time.

Eirian's tailor made, workplace wellbeing packages are the perfect antidote to the aches and pains of desk-bound work. At her sessions expect to stretch, strengthen and de-stress, leaving class feeling rebalanced physically and mentally.



Mandala Vinyasa & Yin 

All forms of Yoga can be described as Yin or Yang based on which tissues of the body they target. A practice that focuses on exercising the muscles and moving blood in Yang. A practice that focuses on connective tissues is Yin.

At Eirian's Mandala Vinyasa & Yin class the two styles of yoga will be intelligently blended together through a firm intention, such as an element (Fire, Air, Water, Earth) or Chakra.

You will start the practice by awakening your body slowly through deep, long held Yin Yoga postures focusing on a specific group of muscles, preparing you for the more dynamic, Yang like – Mandala Vinyasa flow.
Following the main structure of Ashtanga Vinyasa, The Mandala Sun Salutes will move you in a spiralling way, 360 degrees around the mat – honouring the spiral patterns that nature uses to shape and create all the material and energetic substances in our bodies.

This is an intermediate level class and due to the fast paced nature of Mandala Vinyasa it is advised that you attend at least six months of beginners vinyasa flow if you’re a complete beginner.


Reggae Yoga

At the sessions expect to build strength, stretch & sweat whilst you lift your spirits to a roots reggae soundtrack.

One to One 

One to one yoga sessions can be designed to fit each individual’s needs, experience, interests and level. They can be taught in the comfort of your home or office.

If you are a beginner, it is a great way to familiarise yourself with the context, language and movements of Vinyasa Yoga, enabling you to build confidence through a slower paced practice.

For those who already practice yoga, it is a chance to go deeper, allowing you to refine your technique and explore more specific, challenging postures.

Eirian is experienced in working one to one with a range of clients. She’s recently been working with triathletes and surfers, introducing them to yoga for the first time and helping them discover the benefits of a regular, tailor made yoga class.
