Learn from a passionate forager with years of experience who will share their extensive knowledge about local flora, fauna, and the art of sustainable foraging.

Through Sensory learning - we’ll be touching, tasting and smelling lots of wild edible plants, learning how to safely identify the edibles from the toxic species, discovering where they live and how to find them again.

James grew up on a farm in North Yorkshire and has always loved the countryside, wild food, and the natural world at large.  His love of foraging started on nature walks with his parents where picking wild food to eat was just a way of life.

In adulthood, James left this world behind for many years until he hit a low point in his life in 2015, when a walk in the woods with a mushroom loving friend re-ignited a passion for nature and foraging.  Since that day, James has spent every year immersed in the world of foraging and is now on a mission to connect people to nature and improve mental health and wellbeing in the process.
